Plan With Me: March 2025 Bullet Journal Setup
March is here, and it’s time for a fresh Bullet Journal setup to keep life organized and inspired as we head into spring.
I was literally planning out this setup as I went, without any idea in advance, and I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out. I didn’t have any idea for the specific theme, so I think eventually, it turned out to be something like aesthetic stationery.
I hope that piqued your curiosity because I’m definitely excited to share with you all the pages I created and the different styles I’m trying out this month. So get ready, and let’s look at what I did in my journal this March.

It seems to me I can’t really plan in advance lately. The first of March was when I sat down to create my setup. But thankfully, there was no rush; I had the day free, so I mostly took my time to be creative.
I always say that isolation can strike from anywhere, and this whole setup is proof. Here is how the theme was chosen.
First of all, a few days before, I was creating some rewards for my Patreon, and they were stationery-themed. I had so much fun drawing different supplies that I felt like I wasn’t able to draw them in my Bullet Journal as well.
At the same time, I wanted to do something a bit different, and I was looking for this new approach. It arrived when I got some new pens, and the colors inspired me to create something a bit more aesthetic and gentle-looking.
I hope you like what I created, but first, let’s talk about the stationery I used and how it inspired me.

Bullet Journal Supplies
Ok, stationery is important, and as I’ve told you this month, the supplies actually inspired me to create them,e. So here are all the things I used for this setup and can definitely recommend to you as well.
- Nuuna journal is the notebook I’m using at the moment. I love that it’s bigger than the standard A5 size and has a smaller dot grid. However, there is some ghosting with the pages, which doesn’t bother me personally, but I thought it’s important to mention.
- Sakura Pigma Micron fineliners are the ones I have now, and they are amazing. I’ve been using them for years, and they are one of the best fine liners to get. I used two sizes for his setup, a 03 one and a 005.
- Sakura Koi Brush Pens – these are the new pens I got, and they inspired my monthly setup. I had these pens before and loved them, but with the move, I had to say goodbye to them. But now they are back in my collection with the whole monthly theme created around them!
- Tombow Dual Brush Pens – the orange lines in the setup were created using a Tombow brush pen from the pastel set. They fit the color scheme well, and they have a marker tip, so I was able to get lines like these.
- Faber Castell Brush Pen – these are the brush pens I used for the light grey shadows for the letters. I wanted a very light grey color, and these are the perfect shades of grey. Plus, generally, these are great pens!
And this is all I used this month! I ended up using color space, which is not usual for me, but I wanted to try, and I think it looks great. Let me know what you think in the comments!
March Bullet Journal Setup
Time to share the pages and the take on this theme! Please let me know in the comments if you have a good name for this theme because “aesthetic stationery” doesn’t seem like the perfect fit.
Let’s dive in!
Cover Page
I honestly had no idea how to approach this page, and there were several different versions of this cover page. I was thinking of doing more doodles or maybe even adding colors to the doodles themselves.
But this is what I settled for, and I think the soft colors look very good in comparison with the dark black lines of the doodles.
The secret is, of course, to use a pencil first. If I didn’t, this could look very different and probably not that good.
A pencil can help you ensure that your page looks the way you want it, and a lot of mistakes are avoided that way.
Monthly Log
I was trying to think of other different formats for a monthly log, but in the end, I went with a calendar format again. It’s just the best one that works for me, and considering how busy March is going to be, I wanted to ensure I have a clear view of what’s happening.
In case you wonder why the monthly log is so down on the page, it’s basically because the original idea was different.
I originally wanted to have a monthly log on top of a drawing of a school notebook. But once I drew the monthly log and the header, I realized that it was already very crowded and had to leave the idea behind.
But that’s fine because I don’t usually have a very big to-do list for the month, so in the end, it will all be more balanced.
Habit Tracker
Drawing things in pencil is something that helps you to avoid mistakes and ensure that all the elements are centered, but there is another enemy here – laziness.
I drew the washi tapes and finished all the letters when I realized it all had to be moved if I wanted to fit the word “tracker.” So, instead, I went with a bit of a change for the header. I think it still works.
I haven’t filled out these habits yet, but I think I’ll keep the same habits I did last month. Most of them I’m already getting used to doing, but I love the extra view of how I’m doing.
Mood Tracker
This month, the mood tracker is super simple – it’s just a bunch of pen caps. Since the theme is stationery, I thought this idea made perfect sense.
And yes, technically, I could create a tracker with 31 different stationery doodles, but it’s too much, and I just didn’t feel like I wanted to spend that much time on a mood tracker. And it would probably need more space than half a page as well.
I had some space at the bottom, so I created a key because, for a change, I’m using very different colors this month. And the rest of the blank space you can see there will be used for me to clarify the rules for my habits, like the fact that no spending shouldn’t probably include things like bills and groceries.
Weekly Spread
Of course, I created a weekly spread right away, so I am able to share with you the type of weekly spreads I’m thinking of creating this month.
I’m still going with one-page weekly spreads since I don’t really need more space, at least for now. And I love that this helps me use fewer pages each month so I could actually make this journal last for longer.
It’s not the purpose, though; if I need more space, I will use it. But it’s a nice extra perk.
This weekly spread was perfect until I added those orange lines. I think they work very well with black doodles but now, so well with the colored-in numbers.
Honestly, I was watching the last few episodes of “You” when creating this page, and there was just that big reveal. I think I just got lost with that and didn’t realize that I should’ve added doodles instead of numbers or not added the orange lines at all.
And that’s it; these are all the pages I’m using for my March setup. But I’m also feeling like I want to add some more, so maybe other pages will be coming in April.
