Plan With Me: March 2026 Bullet Journal Setup

Sharing is caring!

My March 2026 Bullet Journal setup is finally ready, and I am so excited to share it with you! Spring is right around the corner, which means it is the perfect time to grab our favorite pens, dust off those green markers, and create something a little lucky.

This month, I went all in on a fun and festive shamrock theme. I wanted pages that feel fresh and colorful, but are still incredibly easy to doodle, even if you only have five minutes to spare. Honestly, there is something so satisfying about filling a blank notebook page with bright little green clovers. It brings a wonderful pop of color to the spreads while keeping everything highly functional for our busy schedules.

If you want to transform your planning routine this month, grab your favorite analog tools and let’s get creative together. I will walk you through every single page, sharing plenty of simple lettering and doodling tricks along the way. Get ready to unlock your creativity and make March your most organized month yet!

I’ll be honest, I was very lost about a theme to choose for March, and this is when my beautiful people on Patreon chimed in. They voted for a shamrock theme for our printables in March, and I enjoyed creating those so much that I decided to use the same theme in my BuJo.

There was another intention behind it as well. I was doing the entire monthly setup on the first of March at 10 pm – I needed something I could create quickly so I could go to sleep and wake up to a productive Monday.

So, if you’re looking for a very easy but still cute monthly setup that will keep you organized in no time, you’re in the right place!

And before I share my pages, I have created some FREE printables for you (check the end of the post) that can help you easily create a themed Bullet Journal monthly setup.

Bullet Journal Supplies

You won’t be surprised by what stationery I used; if you’ve been following me for a while, you probably already know.

But, there are a few new items I used as well, so here is a list of everything:

  • Nuuna journal – this is still the same journal I started in 2025, and I have plenty of pages left.
  • Altenew Fineliner Pens – these are what I used for my fineliners this time. I tried them for the first time last month, and I’ve been absolutely loving them.
  • Frex Calligraphy Pens – these small-tip brush pens were very useful for creating some of the headers and letters.
  • Crayola Super Tips – these pens have so many colors! I managed to find the perfect shade of green that fits my idea for this theme perfectly!

Ok, these are most of the pens I used. Let’s dive in and look at the setup itself.

March Bullet Journal Setup

The whole setup is very basic and is based on two things. One – a contrast between black and green colors. I wanted a special shade of green, and I found the absolutely perfect one.

Second thing – is two different shamrock doodles, one with three leaves and one with four.

And this is all, so let me show you how I used this simple idea to create an entire monthly setup.

Cover Page

We are starting with a cover page, and I really went with the most basic idea. I have been considering different things, but in the end, none of them really sparked for me.

The only things that did spark me were this font, so I tried to use it for all the big headers here.

Monthly Log

I wanted to create at least something more interesting than what I’ve been doing for the last half a year. This time, we are doing a calendar view of the monthly log again.

I didn’t measure things properly at all. You can see the box for the first of March is bigger than the other ones. Plus, the calendar itself is not really centered and has plenty of space above and below it.

As you can see, I use the empty space for my monthly to-do list or just goals to achieve.

Gratitude Log

I know last month I was saying I should go back to using a mood tracker, but to be honest, I couldn’t be bothered this month. I was setting up this update at night, and I just went with the same pages I always use to avoid overthinking.

But I did add a gratitude log, since this page took practically no time for me to set up, and it is something that makes me happy – sitting down every day and writing something special I enjoy about my day.

I think the gratitude log has been such a transformative page for me. I definitely tend to be on a negative side and have been going through some not-so-happy times. A gratitude log forces me to think positively and find the light in every day.

And that has honestly helped me build a more positive outlook and feel lighter and happier about my life, even when I struggle. So I’m glad I went back to using this layout.

Weekly Spreads

Because obviously I write these posts with incredible delay (I’m sorry, I’m trying to do better every month!), I already have a few weekly spreads to share with you.

The first weekly spread is a horizontal layout. I had a certain idea I wanted to do, and this format worked the best for it. I’m not very happy with how it looks in the end, but the whole point of a weekly log is to keep me organized and on track, so it was still a successful layout.

The second week, I tried to do something different as well. We ended up meeting with a friend for a little journaling session, and so I had a bit more motivation and time to get creative.

I have been finding it’s a bit difficult to do that much when it’s just one page weekly, and when I don’t actually need more from my weekly layouts, it’s just a set of daily log boxes.

But nothing is impossible, and I felt a bit experimental. I felt like I needed a bit of a change and renewal, so I added some productivity elements to this layout, like the little pomodoro trackers, to help me see how many hours I actually work.

And that’s it, this is my March. It is an easy setup, but it keeps me organized, which is the whole point.

This might not be the most artistic setup, but I’ve been thinking about how it’s important to show the real side of Bullet Journaling as well. Not everything has to take hours; you can do a cute, easy setup that would still make you inspired but also keep you organized.
