Bullet Journal Back To School Theme Inspirations

Sharing is caring!

There are plenty of Bullet Journal theme ideas, and today we’re discussing one of my favorites.

Whether you’re a student getting your supplies in order or someone who loves the nostalgic charm of a fresh notebook, a back to school theme can bring organization and fun to your pages.

It doesn’t have to be a school year, and you don’t have to be a student to enjoy this theme. And there is so much to explore, so many different ways to approach it and make it your own.

In this blog post, I gathered several inspirations to light up your creativity and help you create a unique back-to-school setup that will bring extra joy to you every time you sit down to plan your week.

I think creating themes in your Bullet Journal is both fun and practical. Fun because you get to try something new and exciting every month, so your planning is never boring.

Practical, because it easily allows you to divide your Bullet Journal by different months, so you don’t even need to use tabs – right away, just from the design, you know what month it is.

Plus, it’s a good way to build divisions between every month.

Back to school is probably my favorite theme, because it’s the one where you can doodle plenty of stationery items, and stationery doodles are always so fun to draw!

Before we look at the inspirations, I wanted to mention that at the end of the post you’ll find some FREE Bullet Journal printables that will help you create themed layouts right away.

Also, at the end of the post, you’ll find plenty more inspirations and ideas for your Bullet Journal. After all, there is no way I can fit it all in one post!

Stationery Recommendation

Before we dive into the inspirations, I wanted to share a few supplies that I’m sure you’ll love to use for creating your back-to-school theme, or pretty much any other page in your journal.

So here are a few of my top recommenbdations:

  • Sakura Pigma Micron – a good set of fineliners is a blood of your journal, and this brand is amazing and has smooth black ink.
  • Crayola Super Tips – this is a fantastic set of markers; they come in many different colors, and you can actually use them for brush lettering as well.
  • Zebra Mildliners – these are the most school-themed highlighters; they also come in beautiful colors and have a marker tip. They are my go-to markers, especially for a “back to school” theme.
  • Pilot Frixion Markers – one more set of amazing markers that come in beautiful colors. Plus, they are actually erasable!

Ok, supplies at the ready and excited to get started! Here are a few inspirations to start creating a back-to-school theme in your journal.
