December 2021 Bullet Journal Setup: Plan With Me

Sharing is caring!

And welcome to yet another Plan With Me post. This time we’ll be setting up December in my Bullet Journal.

I don’t have an exact name for the Bullet Journal theme I’m trying to do this month. Maybe it can be called “minimalist holiday”.

I know I’m so very late with my setup! But November has been way too busy, and I didn’t realize it was ending until December 1st.

The end of the year is always a busy time, so I don’t chastise myself for starting late. I’m proud that I did it at all and had fun with it as well.

Since I didn’t have much time to do my setup, I went with something very basic but also a little bit festive.

And before we dive into the pages, I just wanted to mention that if you’re looking for elaborate Christmas themes, check my post Holiday Bullet Journal Inspirations.

And of course, don’t forget to scroll down so you can watch my Plan With Me video.

Quote Page

As always I’m starting with a quote page.

No elaborate doodles here, though; just using my brush lettering as a decoration.

The real star of this setup is Archer and Olive Calliograph pens. I received mine not long ago and absolutely fell in love with the colors and how easy they are to use.

Plus, it’s so great that each pen comes with two brush tips, each of a different size. You’ll see as the setup goes that I used both sizes a lot, depending on how small the details were.

If you want to get yours, by the way, you can save 10% if you use my code MASHA10.

Bullet Journal Cover Page

For some reason, I really felt like using kraft paper, even though I won’t be using it anywhere else in the setup.

I really had no time to do an elaborate cover page, so I just went with something pretty basic.

Kraft paper, I feel like it added a bit of a spark to it.

Monthly Log

As always, I’m going for a calendar view.

This is even more important for me this month when there are even more things happening and, of course, deadlines.

The place at the bottom I left for my content ideas. I don’t need that much space for them, so this was a perfect fit.

Monthly Doodling Challenge

I started a doodling challenge, and this is a spread for me to fill out as the month goes.

A minor error here I didn’t notice – there are 31 days in December.

Because I didn’t start this setup until it was the 3rd, I didn’t think I’d need those dates, and there it is – I ended up with an error.

If you want to know more about the challenge – this is part of our Doodling Club on Patreon.

Even month, you get doodling prompts for the month, and then we have fun together completing all the prompts.

Every month, you also get a tutorial with 6 of the doodles from the challenge.

It’s all good fun and definitely helps me, and all other Masha Plans projects.

There is some space left on the page, and that is for whatever I might need, maybe a monthly to-do list of project management. I’m sure I’ll find an excellent way to use this space.

Habit Tracker and Mood Tracker

This page is probably the most festive one I have, with Christmas decorations and a holiday quote.

I also realized that I used red on the wrong colors in the quotes. I should’ve highlighted with it words merry and happy.

It’s also the first time I realized that this notebook is wide enough to have horizontal trackers like that. I definitely will start using this format more.

Gratitude Log

Same old same old, but it stays that way because it works better.

To be honest, I’ve been thinking of maybe doing my gratitudes in different lettering styles or perhaps even doodles. Let’s see how it goes.

And if you want to see it after the pen – it will show up on my Instagram, so just be sure you’re subscribed.

Brain Dump

The final page is a mix between a brain dump and kind of a productivity bucket list.

December is a busy month, and it’s also the end of a year which brings a bit more pressure.

So I need to have space to offload my head, as well as set exact goals on the things I want to achieve this month.

Thankfully the journal pages are large enough to fit both of these on one page.

Plan With Me Video

Finally, here is my Plan With Me.

I must admit that the color scheme was very inspired by my November setup – I got obsessed with just using one color on the page.

I hope you like this setup, and let me know in the comments what theme you chose for December.

Hope this post was useful; if you find it so, please share! If you enjoy my content and want to show your appreciation, please consider supporting me with a cup of coffee.

And remember: Keep Bullet Journaling, and Don’t Be A Blob.
